Spring Break
Forest School Camp

A gentle week of exploration, discovery, and emerging Spring magic in the forest.

March 30 - April 3

Ages 4-9

9 AM - 2 PM

extended care available

As winter loosens its grip and the forest floor begins to stir, children are invited to a week of noticing, wondering, and celebrating the fleeting beauty of spring ephemerals.  These early blooms — delicate, brief, and full of mystery — become our teachers as we explore the forest with fresh eyes and open hearts.  Spring Break Camp is designed to help children slow down, tune in, and experience the joy of finding what only appears for a moment each year.

What Will We Explore?

Forest With Tall Trees
Purple Flowers

Children will learn about the forest’s earliest flowers — trillium, bloodroot, spring beauty, trout lily — and the unique conditions that allow them to bloom before the canopy closes.

Forest With Wildflowers
Pink Foxglove Flowers

Climbing, building, wandering, storytelling, and imaginative play fill our days as we follow the children’s curiosity through the awakening woods.

Forest Awakening

Forest Path
Pink Cherry Blossoms

Exploring sunlight, soil warmth, pollinators, and the early‑spring conditions that make ephemeral life possible — helping children see the forest as a living, changing system.
