Forest School Programs
We currently offer two Forest School programs:
Half Day Kindergarten for Ages 3-5
Full Day Tutorial for Ages 5-10

Full Day Tutorial
Half Day Kindergarten

Mondays & Wednesdays 8:45 AM - 12:30 PM

Tuition- $215 monthly + $50 enrollment fee

Children must be able to demonstrate the ability to follow directions and show respect for others.

Outdoor program- Rain, shine, or snow!

Children dress for the weather!

Layers are taken on or off as needed as the temperature changes throughout the day.

If it rains, children wear waterproof clothing. Children can choose to work and play in the rain.

If it snows, children wear insulating clothes! We will recommend what kind of clothing is best to keep children warm and dry.

There are covered areas in the forest, so children can be out in the weather, or take a break from it.

Instruction occurs throughout the day, in rain, snow, fog, or sunshine!

We follow Rutherford County Schools for vacation closings.
Below are the dates Forest School will NOT operate:
September 1: Labor Day/No School
October 6-10: Fall Break
October 22: Teacher Inservice and Work Day/No School
November 24-28: Thanksgiving Break
December 22- January 2: Winter Break
January 5: Teacher Inservice and Work Day/No School
February 16: President’s Day Teacher Retreat Day
March 30-April 3: Spring Break

Weather Closings:
​
Since we are an all-weather program, we will not close automatically for inclement weather when Rutherford County Schools is closed.
During inclement weather situations, we will keep parents informed about our school closures.
Half Day Kindergarten "Daily Flow"

8:45-9:15 Parents may begin drop off and check in but MUST stay with their child until 9:00

9:00-9:45 Morning Tea, Snack and Share,
Handwork Activities, Farm Chores​

9:45-11:45 Hike to Forest Area, Morning Gathering, Forest Exploration
​
11:45-12:30 Hike to Pick Up Area, Farm Exploration

Pick up by 12:30
