Farm & Forest School Adventures
Oakview Farm & Forest School Adventures invites students and adults to step beyond the classroom and into a vibrant world of nature‑based learning.
At Oakview Farm, school groups will experience:
-
Mindfully guided immersion in our cedar glades and mixed hardwood forests with a certified Forest Therapy practitioner.
-
Gentle, hands‑on interactions with our animals (rabbits, goats, donkeys, and more!)
-
Direct teaching of specific standards-based concepts- see the choices below or let us customize the experience!
-
A covered space for snacks and lunches and spaces for pre-teaching opportunities.
-
Seasonal exploration of our gardens, high tunnel, and pasture.
These experiences help students regulate their nervous systems, reconnect with the natural world, and rediscover curiosity.
Classes return to school more grounded, inspired, and engaged. Each Adventure can be tailored to meet the needs of individual schools, organizations, or classrooms and align with required standards!
We also offer training and guidance in Inquiry Based Learning for educators! Reach out to us for more information.
