About the event

Inquiry‑Based Learning (IBL) is a structured approach that moves learners from guided questioning toward increasingly independent investigation. IBL is an intentional and increasingly rigorous approach: learners observe and notice, generate questions and wonderings, gather evidence, test their ideas, and document their thinking as they move through the inquiry cycle.  We also use “Question Routines” as part of IBL so that learners become used to how questions function as part of Inquiry Based Learning.

During our parent training, we’ll show how the IBL cycle builds over time, helping students develop strong analytical skills, resilience, and ownership of their learning.  We will cover ages three to twelve, and will provide hands on practice in the IBL approach!

We will meet in the Farmhouse Cafe! See you there!
