Farm Camp Activities
Take a peek at just some of the exciting things our young farmers will do daily during this year's farm camp! Our weekly themes, such as, "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" and "Farm Kids Textiles" are infused into these daily activities.
Gardening
Sow and Grow
Young farmers will be able to plant, grow, and harvest from one of our four organically maintained garden plots. They will learn all about what makes healthy, sustainable soil. Young farmers will see the role of microorganisms and worms in making quality soil, and learn the science behind good versus poor soil. On Fridays, they will choose vegetables to sell at our on-camp parents-welcome "Farmer's Market".
